Fills & practice plan
End a phrase with a fill, and build a daily routine.
A simple fill
A fill is a short break in the beat, usually at the end of a phrase. This one stops the hi-hat on beat 4 and plays snare notes instead.
Play the basic rock beat for three bars, then play this fill on the fourth bar.
